19 Aug Homearama 2019 Welcome to Fortnite!
This year at Homearama 2019, Kingdom Productions and Phantom Sound partnered with J&K Custom Homes to create a fully immersive Fortnite-themed video game room. Homearama is Cincinnati’s luxury home showcase produced by the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati. The event was located in the Kensington subdivision of the Greater Mason and Deerfield Township area. Homearama 2019 featured 10 fully decorated and landscaped homes in various styles. Our themed Fortnite room was featured in J&K Custom Homes, “The Hampton”. The home was sold during the show for around $1.5 million. The original idea behind the Fortnite video game room was inspired by Kimberly Fox Designs. With the creative and fabrication talents of Kingdom Productions and Phantom Sound, the team brought the room from concept to reality. The room was designed to closely resemble the building materials and classic icons from the game. Each item was hand-sculpted from foam materials and hand-painted by our talented artisans. The end result was created to look exactly like you’re immersed within the game itself. Portions of the materials used are trademarks and/or copyrighted works of Epic Games, Inc. First-time participant, J&K Custom Homes’ “The Hampton” claimed all Peoples’ Choice Awards in addition to winning Best House at the 2019 event. We are thrilled to have been apart of this beautiful house build, and are excited for next year‘s Homearama!
